Overview
RAC plc or better known as the RAC are a UK breakdown company offering a selection of products and services for motorists. The RAC was set up in 1897 by the Royal Automobile Club to help members with roadside assistance and other motoring services. The RAC are the sponsor of the What Car? Awards 2008. Known as the 'Motoring Oscars' the What Car? Awards plays host to more than 1000 of the motoring industry's most influential people.
The RAC Motoring Services also offer products other than their breakdown recovery assistance such as car insurance and home insurance.
